So, you're finally providing some information that actually makes sense. Still, do you run your network in 'Domain' mode or 'Workgroup' mode? How are the user acounts set up? Do the users have administrative rights, either local or global? Is there a login script?

BTW, it really does not concern me where the OS comes from. However, if somebody provides this laundry list of OSes, and wants to set up a network whithout even knowing what he's doing, then yes, it is a valid statement.

So, 'Blitzkrieg', let's do some 'Shock and Awe'. Please read up on the capabilities of Windows 9x with regards to remote administration and Windows XP Home with regards to network connectivity. Then read up on network authentication. Shock: Barely any remote admin for Windows 9x, no domain support for Windows XP Home. Awe: Not really scriptable from the server-side at all, doable with client or login script but will require extensive network reconfiguration.

So, if that's not enough, please provide more details.
