WKiX is async and as such will not hold the logon.bat file. Wintendos do a smoke and mirrors thing with a Z: drive to overcome redirector limitations. If the logon.bat is not held, the redirector will tear down the temporary Z: drive resulting in errors.
For that reason, it is necessary to hold WKiX with Start /Wait. This issue has been documented before.
