In short: a c0000006 exception always, always means access to the device from which data/code was being read was lost.

In this case, it means access to the system volume was lost while KIX32 was still running. Possible causes include network problems or severe delays caused by anti-virus software. Also, the exception may be a result of asynchronous processing of the logon script. Possible workarounds include running the executable from the local harddisk, or running it from a batchfile using the START /w command (thereby preventing the automatic disconnect of the connection to SYSVOL).
