Barclay,

Me too had some illegal operations in the past with KiX. In my case it had to do with the # of groups a user belonged to.

Can you provide us with (a part of) the script and more information on what KiXversion your using?
Also does it happen on certain PCs or is it random? Same Q for users; specific ones or random?

Maybe we can duplicate / simulate your problem / challenge (problems don't exist [Wink] )

Generally that problem is a result of the client not being able to complete the network call for the user account information. We experienced this on hundreds of Win95 computers when we first started to use KiXtart. We resolved the problem by correcting the OS.

Make sure you apply ALL the network and winsock updates that are avaialble for Win95.

And take a look at the FAQ Forum, especially KXRPC - Everything you wanted to know about KXRPC . Also, take a look at the KiXtart Manual under 'Common Issues', around page 13.

I tried adding my script but gave me an html error. I do think it has to do with the 95 os. I'm going to see if I can find all the available updates.

Barclay,

You say: error adding script...

Do you use the CODE button??? (past code between [ CODE ] and [ /CODE ])
