Richard,

The ^ character gets rid of the program exception, "kixcrypt.exe qnew.kix \\QNEWSFILE\LOGON\Kix32.exe ^s"
but the crypted.exe now reports:

K:\SS\QNEW>crypted.exe
Decrypting from KiXcrypt version 002.12b
KiXcrypt author: Richard Howarth (rhowarth@sgb.co.uk)
Script error: failed to find/open script!
WARNING: Temporary file not deleted by KiXtart!

In the mean time I have resorted to creating a new longer share name ( 29 character parameter path ) and using %s.

That works!
