cmarti cmarti Hey THIS is FUN Registered: 2001-02-26 Posts: 297 Loc: Little Rock, AR	I'm planning an upgrade from kix 4.02 to 4.12 of kix. Currently we just dump all of the kix files on the local machine kx16.dll, kx32.dll, kx95.dll, and kix32.exe on the local machine, regardless of OS. Most of the .bat files I've seen here only copy the kix32.exe file to the NT based systems. I know that the .dll's aren't used on NT based systems and that the 9x systems use them to communicate w/ the kxrpc service on the domain controllers but to make my .bat file shorter I copy them over anyway. Does that break anything? Thx..

It says that topic doesn't exist, I was already planning on upgrading the kxrpc services files on the dc's and I know for my 9x clients I'll need to upgrade the dll files, but does it hurt to dump those files on nt machines?
