Well, I will take the liberty to say that yes WE did hijaak this thread and that I did have a hand in it. Patrick Brotons does deserve better. He is both a newbie and has the english language to deal with too. Sometimes we forget that this is the Starters forum and that this is an international board.

So Patrick, please accept my apology. Post back to us and we will try to help.

Food for thought...

For gnubees, the instant reward of a 'working' solution, at the outset, is probably sufficient, in and of itself.
For the English as Second Language folks and novices, it seems sensible to me that, where possible, we respond with KISS solutions and code that,
  • is adapted directly from the manual
  • demonstrates best practices
  • employs the questioner's constructs
  • answers the question
  • fosters continued dialog
  • provides immediate gratification
  • is not condescending - there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
As for the 'fancy' stuff, we should keep in mind that Form Follows Function - 'improvements' can be follow-ups.
As for the banter, mea culpa. Sometimes, it's very tempting and very difficult to resist. While a little constructive levity never hurts, when the urge hits, maybe we need to take a deep breath and consider invoking a ReDirectOutput("PM") [Wink]

I'm not familiar with dfsnbt.exe - have you resolved this issue? Can you provide additional information about dfsnbt?
Thanks...
