If you start the following script by kix32 t.kix at a cmd prompt and click the X to close the window WITHOUT hitting a key to terminate the script produces the following....
[Confused] All running processes are terminated and you are logged off the computer.
This is a Windows 2000 SP3 system. This can be reproduced with Kixtart 4.11. Has anyone seen this behavior before?
Caught me by surprise as I was testing a script and clicked the X by mistake.

Thank you,

Gregg

happens all the time. default answer is to prevent a user from cancelling the logon script.

Want to cancel the script... Ha, then log back on again.. Ha again...

to prevent this behavior, put a break on in the beginning of the script

This one catches me all the time.!

I have about 10 programs open at work, test a small script and cancel it half way through...Bang, my workstation logs out without warning.

It is supposed to work like this!

Please read the KiXtart Manual, it is explained in it. To suppress loggoff when forcefuly closing KiXtart, use BREAK ON.

Greg or moderators,

Shouldn't this thread be deleted (or moved to starters) since this forum is for beta bug reporting?
