dunno what you are doing with the info, but simpliest way to achieve this would be with WriteProfileString()
with it, you can easily keep up the info and write there every time the user logs in and there is not going to be dublicates, only updates of the same fields...
check that link... ah, and btw, the resulting file is in ini-format, so it should be easy to use and control it.
