Dear members,

I had the following problem;

we are using Windows.NET RC1 and Windows XP Professional; now we had assigned to run KIX within the default domain policy.

We had several IF INGROUP conditions to copy short cuts to a specific folder in the personal start menü section of the user.

In some cases, to copy command works without problems. We had used the /f option for the script but the problem exits again.

We had done many tests and somtimes, if we change the group names in AD, the copy command works fine.
Next day same problem. If we change again the group names, the problem exits again.

If there are ideas to solve this problem please let me know.

Many thanks

Keer

Which version of KiXtart are you running? Are there error messages created (check @ERROR right after an INGROUP) or is it possible that the COPY command fails nad not the INGROUP. Put a lot of error checking code into your script and step through the script by putting DEBUG ON into the first line.

Are the groups you create regular groups in the AD domain?
