2hotty 2hotty Getting the hang of it Registered: 2002-04-09 Posts: 76 Loc: London	Our ISP is changing our DNS addresses. If it is possible could anyone show me how to change the DNS settings through a script. Any help would be much appreaciated. _________________________ Any problem encountered is a challenge to overcome.

Lonkero Lonkero KiX Master Guru Registered: 2001-06-05 Posts: 22346 Loc: OK	open regedit and check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Adapters there is adapter key which then can be found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\\Parameters\Tcpip and there are the values, easy? also HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters should contain the info, but if I recall correctly, changing values there will not affect. _________________________ ! download KiXnet
