As a rule of thumb, anything done under %WINDIR% requires administrative privileges by default under Windows NT/2000/XP. This might be a simplification but it normally alleviates a lot of problems.
Ths was actually what prompted me to come up with KSMS since I wanted to do only the most basic stuff from within a loginscript and move anything else that is computer-management-related into a separate script.
