If you gave us some insight into what the reg hack was about we may be able to better advise. As already mentioned, there are ways to do it using SU but there are security concerns. Task Scheduler was also mentioned but it is not as serial as a logon script.
It is also possible to edit the reg remotely with an admin script. That too, is not as serial unless you use some external trigger.
