Not sure about the 150 times but if I use it on my local net e.g. a 10MBit switched or hubbed conenction and maximize the window, then I am unable to tell whether I see my local maschine or the remote maschine I'm connected to.
Also, I am limiting screen refreshes to 10 time sper second although I could easily use 100 times per second. However, there's significant CPU processing power associated with 100 refreshes whereas 10 times is not noticable.
