When I run a KiXtart script on our 95 clients and then subsequently log off that machine, when I try and log on again the keyboard doesn't work properly!

The TAB key works, as do the Delete and Enter keys, but I cannot type anything into the username, password or domain fields. Very strange! I have to reboot the machine to be able to log in again.

If I then log in using the normal NT batch file (without KiXtart) it works again, so KiXtart seems to be the problem.

Has anyone else come across this? It only affects Win95 clients - NT clients are fine. It's a tad annoying as I'd love to roll out our new KiXtart logon script but can't! Would the replacement msnet32.dll do anything?

I'll try the Windows Network API Library update from MS (MSNETUPD.EXE) to see if that makes any difference...

The default keyboard language and regional settings for the default user of each PC are set to English (British).

However, if a user logs in and has English(United States) as their default keyboard layout, log out, log in and then log out again, the keyboard does not work properly at the next login! How strange!! This only occurs if KiXtart is being used.

The only way round it is to force users not to have English (United States) as their default keyboard. This generally isn't a problem except for some of our laptop users, although that will mean writing a script to do it.

Has anyone else come across this problem? Is it only with English (British) or with other settings?
