Pages 82 & 83 in the 4.10 manual. I downloaded it all from KIXTART.ORG. It talks about a mode value, to check for all groups.

Please re-read the section. My take on this is that if you supply a list of groups for one INGROUP command you then can use a "1" as an optional parameter. You are only checking for membership in one group at a time. Try without the extra "1".

Took it out, we will see. As for the VPN deal....We have three locations (Dallas, FT. Worth, and San Antonio). Dallas has the main accounts and groups. SA and FW have their own servers (which replicate to Dallas), but have their own shares. I guess, I can just make them up special groups and map them that way. (i.e. SASales, FWService, etc.). I just would like it to tie into the Dallas shares as well, but that should work as well.

If you lookup "subnet" in the UDF Library, you will find several alternatives that will permit you to determine the subnet and make special mappings based on IP if you want. This may reduce you group maintenance overhead.
