KiXtart, is it all that Im after or an Overkill for what I need?

Currently playing with a NT4.0 site running exchange 5.5, SQL 7.0, IIS. 98% of clients are running NT, the rest 9x, in the near future clients will be purchased with XP (operating sys and Office) and Im worring about the changes that yet another client and office version will bring.

We currently use basic batch files to map n/w drives, and more importantly to set-up the users profile to access e-mail using Outlook 97. Obviously looking at profile directory structure our existing script isnt going to cut-it but also I have heard that XP doesnt like batch files... Im assuming I need to look into alternative ways, hence Im here trying to find out if KiXtart is the answer to my prayers.
