kankan kankan Lurker Registered: 2002-06-03 Posts: 2 Loc: Paris	Hello all, I am just new sysadmin in a French company in Paris: I have around 40 PCs to manage: each user has is own save folder on a shared server dedicated. A this time: my boss ask me to make a procedure that zip the user .pst and uplaod it to the user shared directory on the shared server. My question is: is it possible to make this with Kixtart and how can i manage this?

There is also a post in the UDF forum that covers Selective killing of processes (Outlook needs to be closed before you can mess with the pst) Does zipping a PST provide any better compression? kankan kankan Lurker Registered: 2002-06-03 Posts: 2 Loc: Paris	Where is based the com forum...? Yes you gain a lot zipping a .pst file. (i tested from 600mo to 100mo) May be i do not need Kixtart but maybe only a program which could do that better that Kixtart. I never used it before.
