Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I wish my login script to map users to their home directories (\\servername\user$\%username%). It's my understanding that I can't achieve the mapping to the username; however, I should be able to map to the user$ share, correct? All other mappings are being accomplished, but the script just ignores the home directory mapping. The syntax in my script is: use f: \\servername\user$ HELP! and THANKS!

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Put the share name in double quotes as a string. The presence of the $ sign can cause problems for Kixtart.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Thanks so much for your help. I solved the issue with: use f: "\\servername\" + @userid + "$" I know NT will take care of it via the usrmgr, but I also hope to accomplish hiding it from users (so they don't save documents outside the dms).
