Hi All

I have simple kix script as shown below. The script runs fine when executed from command prompt on Windows 2012 server. When the same script is launched from another program (DatConnect) it throws Stack Overflow exception (event long shown below). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The description for Event ID 253 from source KIXTART cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

Stack overflow exception.
The common cause for this type of exception is an endless recursive loop.
Please check your script(s) for endless loops. Error : (0xc00000fd/-1073741571)

How is it being executed? Try "%COMSPEC% /c Kix32.exe script.kix" to make sure it starts from a 32-bit shell.

The error you produced has come up a few times before see the following thread.

Might you have an older version of kix32.exe? Have you tried 4.67?

that other program might also limit the usable memory causing the crash...
