Make a copy of those exes or rename kix32 and wkix32 and replace them with the new ones.
If something breaks (which won't happen) you can revert back and let us know what happened.
4.02 was a good release. You miss some newer features but you don't have to upgrade if everything works.
We are not Microsoft. We don't require daily reboots and yearly re-installs.
