dec_ituk dec_ituk Just in Town Registered: 2016-06-17 Posts: 4 Loc: London	Hi all, I am running Kix script version 4.53 which was working fine with Windows 7. I have since upgraded to Windows 10 and it no longer runs on Login. I have downloaded and tried Kix version 4.66 (recomnmended for Windows 10) with no luck. The script is saved in the %logonserver%\netlogon folder One thing I have noticed is that if i run 'ipconfig /flushdns' the script will then run with no issues. The name of the exe file is kix32.exe, the name of the script is uklogon.kix It is working on other machines. There is no particular portion of the script that failss. When it runs it is fine. The problem is it will not run unless i flush the dns. This has to be done after every day when the PC is switched on. Thank you for the reply.

There is a bug in Windows 10 which causes funny dns registrations $\:D$ Setting those to desired sequence might cure your problem. But! Handle with care or other things might break in the making. We stumbled over this when our clients started to register their local (home) adresses when connecting via VPN.
