Kix32 4.64 is in netlgon, logon.bat calls from user profiles. Any reason why it would run on one OS and not another version of Windows? (checking now to see which version of Windows it fails). The script runs, but does not map a drive based on If InGroup lookup. There's not much to the script, this is pretty much it with some other groups to add-in for other drive letters. Thanks

 Code:
If InGroup( "A.ABCG" )
	USE G: "\\share\ABCG"
EndIf
If InGroup( "A.ABCL" )
	USE L: "\\share\ANCL"
EndIf

;**** Temporary Drive
	USE T: "\\Share\temporary"

You can add lines to help troubleshoot. For example to see if the ingroup function is failing (probably), or the Use command is failing.

 Code:
If InGroup( "A.ABCG" )
	"Is In Group A.ABCG" ?
	USE G: "\\share\ABCG"
        "Use G: Results: "+@SError ?
Else
"Is NOT In Group A.ABCG" ?
EndIf
If InGroup( "A.ABCL" )
	"Is In Group A.ABCL" ?
	USE L: "\\share\ANCL"
        "Use L: Results: "+@SError ?
Else
"Is NOT In Group A.ABCL" ?
EndIf

;**** Temporary Drive
	USE T: "\\Share\temporary"
        "Use T: Results: "+@SError ?

I find it curious that he knows for a fact that it runs on both platforms but fails to map on only one of them and has no idea which.

That is completely backwards.

I've been able to work with a user at this particular site. I had them run kix32.exe script.kix -d and step through as the script runs. It process most of the If InGroup calls successfully, but for others, it looks as though it is checking, but then decides the user is not part of the group? (when they are). At the moment, the script processes successfully on Win 8 PC's, but not on Win 7's. Some mappings are mapped all the time at logon, others never map. Does Win 7 need anything on the DC side to read group membership correctly each time?

Just to clarify, some drive maps still occur even on windows 7 and based on domain group?

This is important especially if the user is part of power users or administrators group on the local computer.
