@Glenn

Just some quick feedback on your recent Creating a UDF User Guide

I know this has been discussed before but I still don't like the use of a single $ as any type of var. Makes it very difficult to scan for in an editor. In a Golf game okay but in a documented professional coding sequence I just don't care for it.

Seems you're building a lot of code that is dependent on IE and/OR MS Office.
IE (if you believe Microsoft, looks to be going away in the future or heavily changed)
Tying code into MS Office is potentially problematic as they change the base program almost yearly or couple years and their html coding is not really considered best practice. Might be working for you right now but one of the monthly hotfixes or program update "might" break all your code forcing you to fix (if possible) or rethink doing it all again. Not sure what all is involved but might want to look at using pure html (not Word html) that all browsers could or should parse the same.

Not saying it will happen but if it did you'd not be a happy camper to come into work one day and find that weeks of coding no longer works after Microsoft fixed a bug in Word. etc...
