Hello

I am new to this Forum so please excuse my ignorance. My question is:

Is there a function or macro that works for OUs in the same way that InGroup() works for User Groups? I need to set up a few test PCs that will call a specific script when the user logs in. the users in question do not want to use test accounts as they want to log into the test PCS as themselves.

I would appreciate any help.

Regards
John

A board search for InOu or InContainer will likely get you in the right direction.

With that said, I see that there is a InOu UDF posted on Glenn's website that doesn't appear to be posted here. (Glenn would you mind posting it here please?)

Edit Reason: revised link to InOu to the UDF Forum

Welcome to KORG!

As Allen pointed out, there are several UDFs available on my site that are synchronized nightly with our development server library, so it's the place to always find the latest version of our UDFs and UDF libraries.

You can also download a ready-built login script from my web site which supports resource mapping by group, user, OU, LDAP object, Site, IP Subnet, and many other methods. Code free, it uses an external config file to define the resource mappings. The latest version has a GUI management console. Free for use in small businesses and very low cost for larger environments. The full user guide is also available on that page.

Allen pointed out that you have a udf that is not in our library. Just a clarification.

There should be several codes in our library for this. See http://www.kixtart.org/udf

Searching it with a phone wasn't the easiest task but here is an example http://www.kixtart.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=113236

thank you to everyone that answered my query. I ended up using the GetObjectOU from Glenn's website and it worked a treat
