Hi All,
I am new to the use of Kix. I need to use InGroup to check the location of the NAdmin group. This group is located in a nested OU. How do you have InGroup search through nested OU's.

Thanks

JV

When posting a question do not use a "poll".

A group name is like an account name. InGroup can find it regardless of where it is in the OU tree. If you need to determine what OU it is, you can try the UDF TranslateName(). You can find it in the UDF library.

I am not quite awake yet. If you are using 4.02, the OU location is truly not relevant because the function checks the clients security token and does make a call to the DC for global groups.

A good poll is rather interesting. Mistakes haven't been too frequent.
