That is because ASE packages it with the interpreter (kix32.exe or wkix32.exe) and it needs to be unpacked so it can be executed.
If you really need it "unreadable" you could tokenize it. You need to remember what version you used to tokenize it and safety store a not tokenized version somewhere safe.
