Berni, it's really really nice to see ppl still going with linux route.
it might be an open topic but your question/input does not directly relate.
for one, does everything else work. do you have a working domain setup.
what is the part that you have an issue with. at the moment you are basicly saying you are having issues using windows workstations with ubuntu servers, which is not covered in any way by this thread.
I would suggest you start your own thread explaining what you are trying to do, how far you have got and what is failing.
