Power came back this morning - the environment is back up and our web site is again available. The boxes of donuts and jug of coffee we left as an offering to the electrical Gods (AKA linemen working in a Nor'Easter) apparently helped!
PS - the DOMAIN ADMIN warning was meant for everyone, not just you. It's an all too common security risk. For it to work properly, you need to create a domain account or group that's a member of every computer's local Administrators group. UAC can also come into play. We're fully Win-7 and testing a Win-8 rollout here and don't have any issues with scheduled tasks, but do use "Computer Admins" (all systems), "Workstation Admins", and "Server Admins" groups to manage access. A specific account for scheduled tasks is a member of the Computer Admins group.
