OK - it broke <MY> logic that I had provided earlier. \:D

The last revision I posted works, so he should be in good shape and impress his co-worker when he returns after the accident.. as long as he isn't a KORG member, that is!

Hi Glenn,

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

It works absolutely perfect now.
I can not impress my co-worker, he know me for years \:\) , but my boss was very impressed.
When he said "good job", i told him about the help i found here at the forums.
Now he want something more. I want to try it on my own, but i'm sure, i will ask you guys again.

@Lonkero: I never had any logic, just trying learning by losing ;\)
As i said earlier, an old dog and new tricks...

I really want to learn it, but it needs time.

Thank you again and many thanks for the forum!

Best regards,

Buhli

Buhli,

There's a document on my web site (see sig) in the Resources / How To section called "Fundamentals of Programming". It's a short document I wrote to use when I teach administrative scripting courses. The content is generic (concepts can be used for Kix, VB, Batch, etc) but all the examples are Kix. It might provide a good jump-start for you and your next project. There is also a page with every Kixtart function that we use in our code projects, most published here at KORG, but updated every night from our active code library.

When I teach the course in small groups, it runs for six 2-hour sessions, so it's not hard for one person to blow through it more quickly, maybe 3-4 evenings.

Glenn
