Hi all,

My login script wont give out mappings for one certain PC in my company.
He is running W7 Ultimate 32bits.
All the PC's are images of one PC from a while back and my script works fine on the rest except for his PC.
Currently i got him using a BAT file on startup for him and it works fine but i'd rather have him use the KixScript to

Hi And welcome to the board.

Can you post the failing code?
Some debugging might help. Can you put the code below directly after trying to map a drive?

Hi Mart,

This is my debug file i cut it to the mapping part since the rest is offtopic to this problem.

As you can see the debug shows that the mappings are succesvol but when i let him relog the script gives no mapping at all.

Hmmm...nice logging format. Need to steal copy borrow some of if it you're ok with that

Ok back on topic.
What happens if you run the script manually after logon? Do you use UAC?

No UAC is disabled on all of our PC's

That's from my Universal Login Script. Please send support requests directly to my email - gbarnas (at) innotechcg.com. The last page of the user manual should indicate which files we need so I can match the configuration file to the debug file.

At first blush, it seems that several resources are processed, but the beginning and end of the logfile is missing, so I can't tell what the results are.

If the script were encountering errors while mapping, they would be listed in the "Processing active resources" section, like this:
 Code:
   Disk: X	\\FILESERVER01\BadShare
The system cannot find the file specified.
That is why the entire file is important. The first part of the log shows the authorization logic, not the actual processing, which occurs at the end.

Please follow the instructions on Pg. 39 of the User Manual, and send them directly to my email. Publishing this information in a public forum such as this could pose a security risk as this site is scanned regularly by most search engines.
