I'm getting the following error any time I try to run the new 4.63 beta 1. Even simply running it from the command line with a /? displays error. It also displays 'Access Denied' on the next line in the command prompt.

Running it on Windows XP Home Edition with SP3.

Confirmed on XP Pro SP3 as well. Does not do this on Windows 7 Pro.

Also read it might require the VS C++ 2010 Redistributables...

Also does not work on Server 2003.

Does work Server 2008.

.net 4 is not required!!!

.net 4 is the latest bs and if you don't really need it, never install.
seems to break a lot of .net functionality on virtually all OS versions (win7 and down)

Arr... I've recently moved over to Visual Studio 2012, and didn't realize that this does not support XP...

The good news is VS 2012 will get an update later this year that will address this.

In the mean time, I'll probably build with VS 2010.

This error seems to have been resolved with 4.63 b3.
