Hi,

I'm fighting with Session 0 isolation on a 64-Bit Windows 7 system and would like to use the WTSSendMessage function ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa383842%28v=vs.85%29.aspx ) in Kix in order to provide popups in another session.

Is there a possibility to use Remote Desktop Services API function within Kix ?

Many thanks !

Tobi

Do you have code you are working on that is not working? Please post if so.

Sorry Allen, not a single line yet. I have written a lot of Kix scripts in my company but never was forced to use a Windows API function so far. Right now I'm still wondering how to
to use Windows API functions in general in a kix script. I was looking in the forum for some example code but couldn't find it. Doesn't have to be related to WTSSendMessage - I hope I can find some basic code structure that might use another API function. Just looking for some examples in order to adapt it for my purpose.

Using the API is not built into kix. There are ways around it, but your results will be varied. I don't remember the name but I think Howard Bullock wrote a utility to allow you to use the the WinAPI. There is the Dynamic Wrapper(search for dynawrapper or dynawrap), and most recently I was toying with using the POSHActiveX and Powershell to do it.

Here is the link to the PoshactiveX thread:
