Getting the hang of it

We have used "Ingroup" in our 2003 Terminal Server for years. Does it work with 2008 R2 64bit? I am confused (thought it worked last week, but this week a different story). We are on kixtart version 4.61. I did a search, but still not sure what is the fix. Upgrade kixtart?

We've got 2008 R2 (which is 64-bit only) and it works fine here.

What version of kixtart?

We have 2003 & 2008 DCs, but will retire the rest of 2003 DCs very soon. We retired one last week.

I applied the script to another Windows machine and it worked.

Does it matter if i totally removed security rights for read access for the group "local_machine\users to cmd.exe file?

I'm still afraid to do x64 DC - just my luck I'd run into some utility or protocol or something that doesn't work on x64 and I'd need it.

Did run into that with a TS - tried to make a workaround but an old database running on TS x64 worked fine all week in testing so I put the box into production, the next day users were using some utility that I just could not get to run on the TS and finally had to go back to the x86 server.
