A user uses a vpn connection to connect to our network.
We use the @HOMESHR macro to point the homedir in Active Directory to G:
Some users have the homedir listed as follows: \\server\home$\username
when i call the @homeshr macro it returns \\server\home$

So the user doesnt get access to its home folder.
How is this possible? Is there a workaround?

I've never used the @homeshr macro so I can't say if this is expected or not, but the following might help.

untested
 Code:
if exist(@homeshr + "\" + @userid)
  use g: @homeshr + "\" + @userid
else
  use g: @homeshr
endif

homeshare is indeed the share, not the directory under it.

there are other macros, like @homedir you can experiment with.

what is the kixtart version you are using?
