lespaul_flame lespaul_flame Fresh Scripter Registered: 2011-07-13 Posts: 6 Loc: Phoenix	I am very new to this. I created a logon.bat to run my kix script to map drives for users. I am calling the logon.bat from GPO to start at logon. I have placed kix32.exe, Wkix32.exe my script in the netlogon and sysvol folder. Every time I logon to a computer the kix32.exe does not run and it asks me what program I want to run my .kix file with. Can you launch kixtart from a domain controller or do you need to install kixtart on all local machines. ------------ Logon.bat @ECHO OFF %0\..\Kix32.exe %0\..\byte.kix

Glenn Barnas Glenn Barnas KiX Supporter Registered: 2003-01-28 Posts: 4401 Loc: New Jersey	Change the first line to include the "byte.kix" script name and eliminate the second line. Code: %0\..\Kix32.exe byte.kix should be all you need after the @Echo Off command. Kix32 is the script processor and must know what script to execute. Most versions (except 4.60, which has a bug) will default to "kixtart.kix" if it exists in the folder where Kix was launched from. It's always safest to specify the script name, however. You do not need to install Kix locally, nor should you unless you want a maintenance nightmare! Glenn _________________________ Actually I am a Rocket Scientist! $\:D$
