Hey - I wasn't implying that the process was right or wrong, just making sure that all of the potential situations were considered, no matter how likely (or unlikely!).
I don't have any users with special chars that I can test with, either, so I'm just throwing ideas out there for you guys to consider. You aren't the only member of the "Mistaken" club!
