The biggest question I have is how the getobject and createobject functions behave differently in KIXtart vs. VBScript... I haven't really dug into VB Script that much, so I'm relatively green on the syntax. The object-oriented coding can get a little confusing to those of us who started in BASIC and moved to .bat and maybe Pascal... What would be the advantage of using Java over VB or vice versa?

KIXtart is so much easier to follow and understand, although the code doesn't seem nearly as compact or quite as powerful. Essentially, it appears to be somewhat of a bridge between batch and VBScript.
