This saves some time and overhead and insures that the right data is placed in the appropriate fields. Thanks, Allen! Glenn I too had to come up with a quick bar code scanner program for a tablet pc. I had some user input bar codes that were attached to the tablet, simple things like yes/no, enter, cancel.... since the tablet pc was not touch sensitive. It worked out well, and was able to save the poor shipping folks a heap load of time.

I too was planning a cheatsheet of common barcode commands laminated to the underside of the tablet. http://ww1.socketmobile.com/products/bluetooth-scanners/how-to-buy/CRSdetails.aspx?sku=RS5519-1075 CorpIT wanted to go with a gun type scanner running WinCE. The display was too small to see and the keyboard was ABCDE instead of QWERTY.
