The only time I have seen the "is not valid" is times when I have downloaded a file that was not complete, and I tried to run it. Maybe you have a bad kix32.exe file? AV?
"Kix32 is not recognized" sounds like it can't find it in the path. Make sure it is in the Netlogon folder.
I'm headed out, maybe someone else will have some suggestions.
