Hi all!

I am using a WIN2K Adv. Server in a lab environment. In the netlogon share I have placed kix32.exe, logon.bat, and logon.kix. In the user and computers section of Active Director I point to logon.bat in the User profile logon script location. I am logging in to the server with a WIN98 client machine.

The kix logon script invokes correctly except for these environment variables do not contain any values;

@userid
@domain
@fullname

These env. values do contain correct info;
@priv
@wksta
@lserver
@time

Those are the only values I am experimenting with. @userid worked at one point then quit working. Can someone explain to me what the problem is with kix32 retrieving those missing env. vars?

Why are people being told to install kix32 and the dlls on the workstations as opposed to centrally manage the kix32 program and scripts on the server?
