Using the DLR opens up some interesting possibilities..With some minor modifications, I managed to use SteelKix with ASP.NET! Look at this example:
ASP.NET markup:
<%@ Page Language="SteelKix" CodeFile="default.aspx.kix" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
<title>SteelKix ASP.NET example</title>
</head>
<body>
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
Enter your name:
<asp:TextBox ID="TextBox1" runat="server">
</asp:TextBox>
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Submit" OnClick="Button1_Click"/>
<p>
<asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Label">
</asp:Label>
</p>
</div>
</form>
</body>
</html>
SteelKix codebehind:
function Button1_Click($sender, $args)
$page.Label1.Text = $page.TextBox1.Text
endfunction
