Another of his less reported projects was his intent to open his Neverland Ranch to the Boy Scouts. At any time of the year, his home could be filled with the sounds of squealing young boys.

To give him the benefit of the doubt, I consider him to have been "broken" as a child and then afflicted with extreme fame at too early of an age...
He was MADE into what he became by forces beyond his control.
However, regardless of WHY he was what he was, he is (was) a paedophile and should have been treated accordingly.

Michael was a wonder child, and together with Quincy Jones, magic was produced.
His parents stole him of his childhood, all for money and greed. They used him all too much, like most child stars gets used. In all his adult life, all Michael did was searching for a lost childhood, to me that's quite obvious.
Whether or not he was innocent from pedophile accusations, we can just speculate in. There are alot of "serious" documentaries, showing everything from "transcripts" to "eye witnesses".
Only simple fact for everyone not immediately involved is that very many wants to make money from the stories around MJ. Perhaps time will tell the truth, now that he's gone.
I'm not going to judge based on rumors... wrong or right. To me, the story of MJ's life is quite sad. But what he achieved is pure magic.

not at all, but there is a difference between "not guilty" and paying off your accusers... Hello Catholic Church.
How many songs does someone have to sing to make up for molesting a child?
What about a doctor? If you save 10 people's lives does that give you a free pass on raping a 14 year old girl? (rhetorical) How many touchdowns will excuse a double murder?
I think the point here is, we are all tired of seeing someone's FAME or POSITION excuse them from the consequences of their actions. "Jesus Juice" would put most people in jail. So would lying to Congress. So would using an intern as a personal humidor while at work.
While it is Common practice to only choose to remember a deceased person for their "positive" contributions, it doesn't REALLY make them into a good person.
MJ contributed a lot of music to the world and for that he was WELL compensated, but that doesn't make him a good person.
