Hi everybody,
the so called 'architects' in the company i work for atm, decided to migrate our large Terminalserverfarm to Win2003/x64. The problem is, that it seems that i wont have enough time to test all the scripts running in the 32bit- environment as thoroughly as i would like to, before migration. Although a crash wont be my fault then, it will be my problem in the end.

So i need as much hints as possible, what to look out for and were there are problems to be expected in scripts. For example, i read about the "Registry Redirector" in x64-Win but i dont fully understand yet what that means for scripts accessing the registry.

Btw. i use Kix v4.53, 'cause i got the impression that 4.6 is still a bit too buggy for production-environment, or am i wrong?

Thanks, rob

4.6 is mostly ok - but there are still unresolved COM issues. Many of my Kixforms script just break in 4.6. I would stick with 4.53 for now.

Short of registering the DLL in the correct folder (_x86), I've had no issues running Kix 4.53 or 4.60 and KFClassic on Vista X64 since I upgraded last fall. I've not played with KF.Net yet.

On the other hand - unrelated to X64 - I've had some issues where things no longer worked as expected due to security changes, where now there is a difference betwee THE Administrator and AN Administrator on a Vista system.
