Ok, figured it out.
@SCRIPTDIR running under the context of an AD Startup script on a Windows XP box, returns the domain controller POLICY GUID share where the script resides.
@SCRIPTDIR running under the context of an AD Startup script on a Windows 2000 box, returns C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32.
Go figger eh ?
