kuwahard kuwahard Fresh Scripter Registered: 2005-09-09 Posts: 8	Hi! I need to setup a environmental variable to point to a license server. So the variable should look like this: LM_LICENSE_FILE 1700@sci-geo So in KIX I put this in set "LM_LICENSE_FILE=1700@sci-geo" What I get is LM_LICENSE_FILE 1700<unknown:sci-geo I gather that kix or something doesn't like the "@" symbol. Anyway to get around this? I'm still looking through the boards and haven't looked in the script libraries yet, but thought I'd get this started. Daniel.

Mart Mart KiX Supporter Registered: 2002-03-27 Posts: 4673 Loc: The Netherlands	You can double up the @ character. This way kix will leave it alone and set the environment var to the correct value. @ is used for macro's in kix (@wksta, @crlf, etc…) so if kix32 or wkix32 finds and @ it expects a macro. Witto Witto MM club member Registered: 2004-09-29 Posts: 1828 Loc: Belgium	Better would be to put something like Code: ;Script Options Break On Dim $SO $SO=SETOPTION("Explicit", "ON") $SO=SETOPTION("NoMacrosInStrings", "ON") $SO=SETOPTION("NoVarsInStrings", "ON") At top of your scripts, to avoid having to use double @-signs.
