I have, and a windows based version called 3cx as well. I have 3cx running in a VM now with a couple of soft-phones, and have VMs ready to spin up for Asterix and TriBox as well. I find that I can learn the most about a technology by getting into the nuts & bolts. That means behind the GUI, thus Asterix. I'm also using external, network based comm devices, since the VM prevents access to PCI-based voice cards at this time.
