Anybody have any solutions to script or otherwise identify servers with java installed? I will manually apply the patches of course if needed, but I need to identify them first.

Maybe just look for the installed software?
Look in the registry for the uninstall strings.
Look with WMI for the installed software.
If you need an idea about scripts, maybe post a request in tha basic scripting forum?

Thanks for the suggestions. Installed software won't work since some of the versions of Java we are using don't add keys to those registry locations. I wonder if checking classpath on the remote systems might be the best way to narrow down my search!
