brewdude6 brewdude6 Hey THIS is FUN Registered: 2000-10-21 Posts: 280 Loc: Nashville, TN	Anybody have any solutions to script or otherwise identify servers with java installed? Witto Witto MM club member Registered: 2004-09-29 Posts: 1828 Loc: Belgium	Maybe just look for the installed software? Look in the registry for the uninstall strings. Look with WMI for the installed software. If you need an idea about scripts, maybe post a request in tha basic scripting forum?

Installed software won't work since some of the versions of Java we are using don't add keys to those registry locations. Megabit Megabit Fresh Scripter Registered: 2007-01-21 Posts: 13 Loc: Miami, FL	we had to push out a java update to all 2100 of our clients. but we use the JRE msi so it was actually not that bad for us.
