Maybe a Desktop Refresh would do the trick. Allan had a really clever way of doing this, but damn if I can find it. Something to do with sending F5 using SendKeys ... Anyone ?

[edit] - was doing some reading ... looks like refreshing the desktop won't work for what you want ... there was talk about killing explorer.exe though - thats kinda scary.
