masken masken MM club member Registered: 2000-11-27 Posts: 1222 Loc: Gothenburg, Sweden	So I want that each client to create a text file with some data in it on their PC when logging on. I then want all Domain Users to be able to change it on a standard WinXP NTFS %SystemDrive%. Where do I put the file so that every client logging on the same PC can edit it without having to modify the default permissions? I've searched but there doesn't seem to be a single folder on a default-perm'd system drive where Users can share stuff with write access. It is always creator/owner and read for the rest. So as suggested, a srv-share or a GPO-permission set folder seems like the only way it seems. Shouldn't this be considered a... blunder in the permissions-design? $;\)$ _________________________ The tart is out there
